Stop the Clock!

Welcome to our new Context for Learning, Stop the Clock! We are so excited to share all about our learning with you. We will be focussing on exploring houses in our local community, worldwide, past and present! 

In the following weeks, the pupils will be provided with opportunities to experience:      

• Asking good questions and discovering new things through play
• Exploring our own homes and what makes a home
• Explore what Danescourt was like before it had been built upon
• Exploring how humans have impacted our local community
• Comparing and contrasting homes in the past and present
• Collecting data on the different types of homes 
• Exploring and extending the sentence pattern 'Ble rwyt ti'n byw?'
• Examining works by the artist 'Martyn Evans'
• Identifying properties of different materials
• Enquiring and answering the question 'What does it mean to belong?'
