Eco- Schools at Danescourt Primary School

Eco committee meet on a regular basis to plan actions and events that support our school in promoting a positive impact on the world we live in as Ethically, Informed Citizens. 

2024-2025

Following our environmental review, the committee have chosen three areas to focus on in the current academic year. These are:

• Transport
• Litter
• Biodiversity

We will be encouraging the community to choose active travel methods for local journeys, organise and undertake litter picks within the school grounds and the local area, as well as develop biodiversity within the immediate environment, such as planting trees. 

We are proud to fly the Eco-Flag from our flag pole.
